Yesterday I took the Charger to the Esotico Italiano car show in Austin, Texas and it was great. The sun was on full swing and the temperature was just perfect for such nice cars showing up here. The event took place at Lake Travis, where the roads were curvy enough to toss my fast-fridge-on-wheels Charger. Multiple pictures and videos ahead. Enjoy.

Ugh. I was told by the organizer that anyone arriving in an Italian car would be charged $150 to park. So I didn't go.

There were owners of Italian cars that just parked in the multi-story parking lot and walked to the event. Probably they were not charged.

Several Alfa guys wanted to display. The local AROC chapter got in touch with the Lambo club people, who had organized this event, to clarify the parking and display rules. According to our guy, they were going to charge ANy Italian car regardless of condition the full show/display fee to park anywhere on site. Stiff words were exchanged, and AROC decided to boycott. Maybe boycott is too harsh, but I know there was some hard feelings as AROC had promoted the event for weeks. ANYWAY. I stayed home and worked on my car instead. Looks like a pretty eclectic turnout!

Those are some pretty harsh rules. Now that you say that about AROC, I was wondering why I saw several people wearing Alfa Romeo apparel.

Hey, at least you worked on your car, that's time put to good use!

Who had the Laforza? Those are like Hipster SUV's. If hipsters actually drove SUVs...

Didn't see the owner getting out of the vehicle, but this is the first time seeing one.
